In byI has been unable to upload any photo or movie after allowing backup in the Google Photos Android app. It generally stuck at “Getting prepared to back up”, no matter how long I waited (10+ hours), cleaned caches/information or reinstalled.Very first I thought It was media reencoding but in fact it was not.

The side impact of this is that the media can simply no longer be noticeable to additional apps (some apps can become established to disregard the “.nomedia” option).

Google Photo Backup Stuck Windows 10

My phone stopped backing up my photos to Google about 2 months ago. It was working for for almost a year until then. I've done a lot of looking around and haven't found a solution that works yet (obviously).
